I need to take a vacation every summer just to feel better and to do something different for a change. I have not been on vacation for a while, but I know that it is all going to change soon when I embark on my summer adventures. I have been waiting for this moment for so long that I really hope that nothing is going to stand on my way and prevent me from having fun this year.
Everybody deserves a little vacation, including pastors who work very hard all year round. Some pastors tend to be even more tired than other people because their work sometimes forces them to make a lot of sacrifices. In their case, a Christian home exchange is a great solution allowing them to have a memorable vacation without breaking the bank. The whole idea of a home exchange is to spend some time in another place (usually in another country) without paying for staying in a hotel. As you probably know, hotels usually charge those staying in them a lot of money. A Christian home swap is a great way to plan an affordable vacation or sabbatical without the need to spend so much money on staying in hotels.
I have to admit that the idea of a home swap sounds great to me. I would not mind spending time in other countries knowing that I do not have to pay for hotels. Also I would not mind letting somebody live in my home when I am not there. As long as I know that this is somebody I can trust, I do not have any problems allowing somebody to stay in my home for a few weeks. I believe that there are others as well who would not mind it, especially if they are Christian clergy somebody can vouch for.
